“ Staff was friendly and attentive even though they were very busy. Meatloaf special was good and reasonably priced. Blackened Chicken & Grilled Chicken Wraps were very good!!Fries we were delicious too! ”
“ This is a great little spot in Mendota. The service was friendly and attentive. I had the grilled salmon, baked potato and salad. The only thing I would change is the lettuce used for the salad. The prices were very reasonable. It was busy on a Friday night! ”
“ Food is amazing. Service is amazing. And the energy is upbeat and pleasant. I try something new every time I come and have yet to be disappointed. ”
“ Say hi to Joanne when you stop for lunch! The turkey panini special was terrific and well worth the stop. ”
“ Great Service & great food, owners are always fun to talk with. Lunch & Drinks are always good, specials like Cordon Bleu are unbelievably great! Wings on Thursday are really good. ”
“ This place is awesome! The food is Fantastic! I have tried the steak, pork chops and the fried chicken on different occasions and all were Great. The staff are super nice and know there stuff. Now the best part it's very reasonable. I will warn you I have no luck on the slot machines. Three out of four ain't bad. ”
“ Being a Mendota native makes visiting here from out of state seem like a return to a second home where everyone knows your name. Although I should know the names of everyone who works here, the gal whose last name is "Pohl" interacted with us most. Not only was she attentive to our drink orders but while she was being beyond busy, she still managed to share her roots and what led her to Mendota. She was incredibly cordial and kind and really enjoyed the Moscow Mules that Joanne and Jodi made. I was expecting a loud noisy bar and was pleasantly surprised by their ability to create an atmosphere where I could easily converse with my dad. Can't wait to return! ”
“ Stopped here for the chicken wings but found out that they're only served on Thursdays. I had the ribeye sandwich witch was fantastic. My son had the cheeseburger witch was the most amazing cheeseburger he had.(his own words) We split the cheddar cheese balls witch were great as well. Looking forward to coming back here...hopefully on a Thursday. ”
“ Nobody else has reviewed Main Street yet? OK, FIRST!! My favorite Main Street offerings are Wings on Thursdays (the boneless wings are huge and the traditional wings are fresh and moist), the buffalo chicken tenders, and the weekend cookout nights where you can get either a big ribeye or pork chop with the fixins including a Very Fresh salad bar. I consider it the best place in the downtown area. ”
